It’s been said that my comics have a ‘filmic’ or ‘cinematic’ quality, which I’ve understood to mean that I’ve given a lot of thought to the shot to shot editing, and that I’m not afraid of using very wide shots to establish a scene.
I’m proud of that, and the more time I’ve spent making serious comics, the more I’ve realised they have in common with the storyboards I make. So it’s with that in mind that I’ve put this page here. It’s part of a scene from the end of most recent graphic novel, Was That Normal? (SPOILER ALERT!). I hope that if you read it you’ll agree with me.
